Universities Fund Mandate
Universities Funding
Apportion funds to universities in accordance with criteria established.
Funds Mobilisation
Mobilise and receive funds for purposes of the fund from the Government, donors and from other sources.
Advisory
Advise the Cabinet Secretary of university education funding and related policy issues.
Maximum DUC
In consultation with the public universities, establish the maximum Differentiated unit Cost for the programmes offered.
Minimum Remuneration
Establish the minimum discipline differentiated remuneration for academic staff of universities.
Consultation
In consultation with the Cabinet Secretary, develop a transparent and a fair criterion for allocation of funds.
